BOSTON, October 1st, 2018 — Democrat for Governor Jay Gonzalez and Democrat for Lieutenant Governor Quentin Palfrey are proud to announce today that their campaign has been endorsed by the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.

“Jay Gonzalez is a bold leader who has the vision, the experience and the heart to be an outstanding Governor for the people of Massachusetts. “I am so honored to receive the endorsement of a United States President as inspirational and as accomplished as President Obama,” Gonzalez said. “President Obama’s approach to public service ought to serve as a model for political leaders everywhere, and I hope to have the honor of following his example as Governor.”

“It was the honor of a lifetime to serve in President Obama’s administration,” Palfrey said. “As President, he made sure his administration put people first, and as Governor and Lieutenant Governor Jay and I promise to do the same.”
