The Jay Gonzalez campaign for Governor of Massachusetts is currently seeking motivated students to participate in its Fall Fellowship Program. Fellows will play an integral role, working together with staff to build our campaign into a grassroots movement.

Jay Gonzalez has spent his career working to improve the lives of people in Massachusetts. Through his work providing health insurance coverage for low-income residents, helping cities and towns build new schools and fire stations, and managing the state budget for Governor Deval Patrick during the Great Recession, Jay has always put people first. That’s why he’s running for Governor.

Fellows should be able to commit 15 hours a week, have a passion for politics and be excited about working on a grassroots campaign. Responsibilities could include:

  • Making phone calls to potential voters and volunteers
  • Data management
  • Visiting neighborhoods to talk one on one with voters about Jay
  • Staffing events to sign in attendees and voters
  • Managing a senate/representative district and coordinating with our volunteer captains in each district
