“Today’s Supreme Court decision is a full frontal attack on working families across Massachusetts. We need strong unions now more than ever. Unions have always fought for the ‘little guy’ and helped build the middle class—a middle class that is out of reach for too many people today. With a Supreme Court, a President, and a Governor making it even harder for regular people to get ahead, we need to support organized labor in their tireless fight to ensure that everyone has access to a good job, with benefits, at a fair wage.
That is why, as Governor, I would do everything in my power to protect workers’ right to organize and to partner with organized labor in fighting to give everyone in our Commonwealth a fair shot to get ahead.”
